Indonesia is the largest archipelago on earth, stretching from 6° East to 11° East longitude, approximately 3,977 nautical miles. With over than 17,000 islands (about 6,000 of the islands are inhabited) of various sizes, the country hides many resources and treasures both under and above water.
Indonesia is also very unique as the country with more than 60 local tribes having different languages (about 580 native languages and dialects), traditions and cultures. Some still being very primitive. Both the above and underwater, Indonesia has kept its natural beauty with some unique species of flora and fauna that would not be found else where in the world.
It is a perfect repeat destination for yachts as cruising is the best way to reach all the islands of Indonesia with their many diving or surfing spots.
